This dust filter cover serves as a pre-filter for the HQ 600 filter cartridge and captures larger dust particles, thus prolonging the life of the filter.
We recommend replacing the dust filter cover every 3 months as the active carbon is very sensitive to dust and therefore its performance will decrease faster. Saturation of the pre-filter can be recognised by dirt and blackness of the cloth.
Without using a pre-filter cloth, the filter would become clogged, reducing its service life.
