The carbon filter (carbon) filters chemical pollutants and odours from the air of, for example, fireplaces, wood stoves and in environments close to industry. The filter is highly effective against nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulphur dioxide (SO2).
This mini pleat media is mounted in a hardened waterproof cardboard frame with extra narrow edges for an even larger filter surface and lower resistance, so less energy is needed.
The carbon filter is mounted on the fresh air supply in your Nilan VPL 15 Side
We recommend inspecting your filter every three months and replacing the filter at least every six months, also to reduce contamination of the air ducts. Dirty air ducts are a breeding ground for mould and bacteria.
